  • Bridge the gap between customers and the business by using clear language, repeatable processes and detailed technology requirements to drive change.
  • Be the champion of documentation, communication, and process – you will need to evaluate, analyze, and communicate requirements at each stage of the technology development process, so everyone involved is pleased with the final product.
  • Develop meaningful relationships built on trust with customer and internal staff. Be ready to respond to concerns with supporting information and recommendations.
  • Lead, support and ensure the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features including:

Requirements

Product Owner

We’re building an AI-enabled, automated platform to simplify healthcare transactions, and need your help as a skilled Software Engineer to build the critical connections which make this possible. As a member of our Research & Development organization, you will use Go to build applications that will send and receive data from a variety of healthcare software APIs. Your contribution to our product helps people get the medical care they need sooner. Specifically, you will:

  • Write clean, concise, and well documented code
  • Develop integrations by researching and using unfamiliar APIs
  • Deploy, upgrade, and monitor many applications
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings
  • Contribute to collaborative design sessions with technical teams across the business
  • Write software utilizing Hyperledger Fabric’s SDK
  • Participate in peer-peer code reviews

Requirements

  • Proficient to authoritative level experience with Java, C#, Python or Go in a production environment. (Experience in production is a must.)
  • Professional experience in an enterprise codebase. You’ve been thrown into an unfamiliar codebase before, and can quickly find your way around, and push quality production code quickly.
  • Experience with software development best practices and principles
  • Experience interacting with RESTful APIs
  • The ability to adapt to the standards, conventions, and workflow of the development team and organization
  • The ability to communicate efficiently and empathetically when reviewing the code submitted by peers

Desired (but not required) Skills & Experiences

  • Experience with Front-end QA Automation using tools like Selenium.
  • Experience writing Go in a production environment. Bonus points if it was blockchain
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform, or any container orchestrator and cloud platform

Software Engineering Manager

As the Software Engineering Manager for the Services Delivery Team, you will own the development, maintenance, and deployment of our custom healthcare administration applications. As the head of a team of 4 Software Engineers, you’ll translate business requirements into user stories/technical requirements. Because you will understand our client’s needs, you will prioritize the workflow/load of the engineers you lead, making sure the client’s needs are met while also providing guidance to your team to ensure they have what they need to create clean, concise, and effective code. This role will report to the VP of Research & Development, with a dotted line to the VP of Product Experience. As you will be both externally (customer) and internally facing – strong communication & leadership skills are a must. In this role, you will:

  • Prioritize the workload of engineers you lead
  • Guide the professional development of your software engineers through coaching, mentoring, 1:1 sessions, and code reviews
  • Gather and translate requirements from our clients, and draft user stories/ requirements accordingly
  • Write clean, concise, and well documented code
  • Deploy, upgrade, and monitor many applications
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings
  • Attend collaborative design sessions with technical teams across the business
  • Contribute to each part of the software development life cycle
  • Help design and implement functional requirements
